Two new embroidery hoops are in the shop!
"Best Mom Ever", hand-embroidered in blue on an aqua floral print, with white daisies.
Perfect for Mother's Day (which of course is every day)!
Scandinavian folk art bird in red embroidery thread, on cream cotton fabric.
I think this would look so pretty as part of a folk-art inspired Christmas (see my post on ours here).
New Cake Toppers: Metallics

I've been leaning towards metallics with with my latest cake buntings, in shades of gold, bronze, and gunmetal grey.
Inspired by heavy metals (the elements, not the bands!), this one includes dark earth tones in grey, brown, gold and black solids with a metallic silver dot print.
An ancient Egypt-inspired cake topper features a mix of geometric prints including zig-zag patterns and dots in black, brown, and metallic gold.
Bronze and cadet blue make a pretty palette for a modern wedding.
