Halloween CakeToppers: Classic Literature

This year's Halloween cake toppers were inspired by spooky literature classics, in deep, dark, moody colors with metallic accents.  Shown here are "Sleepy Hollow", with wood grain prints and silver spider webs, and and "Dracula" in wine, plum, and pewter.

New Items: Floral Cake Toppers

It's spring, and more and more beautiful flowers are starting to bloom!  I'm so looking forward to seeing what I've planted this year come up.  In anticipation, I've added these pretty floral cake toppers.  Enjoy!

"Garden Club", a mix of spring florals with pink and black damask, pink solids, and a pine green flag with a heart.

"Bali", a tropical botanical mix of floral prints, pink damask, and forest green solids.

New Items: Cake Topper Cards

Here are the latest additions to my greeting card collection.  I am super excited about these cake topper cards and am having as much fun putting together the color schemes as I do when I make my fabric and paper buntings.  The cards can also be personalized with custom colors.

    

                  

Inspiration: Hummingbird

I've just listed this cake topper in shades of emerald, mint, moss, pine and forest green, inspired by this little lady who has been visiting our garden this summer.  It would be so beautiful for a woodland or botanical-themed wedding.

I've just listed some cake toppers inspired by summer's bounty of beautiful, colorful fruit.  Featured here are "Watermelon" (with hot pink polka dots), "Pineapple" (perfect for a luau party), and "Peach and Plum" (in rich shades of coral and lavender).  Maybe veggie-inspired buntings are next?

Hooray for fabulous parties!  When Natalie of Nat's Next Adventure contacted me to make a Peppa Pig cake topper for her daughter's birthday, I had such fun working with these bright pastels that I made several versions and a hard time picking out a favorite.  I was so happy to see these photos - I love seeing how it all comes together in the end!  Definitely head over to Natalie's blog for more pics and some fun reads.  Thanks a million, Natalie.  It looks like you all had a day filled with smiles!

Now this is just too doggone cute!  Meet Archie and his big sister Ethel Mae, two pups who really know how to party.  I made the cake topper for Archie's first birthday and was so excited when these photos were posted on Ethel's facebook page.  Head over to see more of this adorable pair, for guaranteed smiles :)

New Items: Christmas Cake Banners

New Christmas cake toppers in the shop!  Shown here are hand-cut paper banners in "Merry Christmas" and "Peace, Joy, Love".   These would look lovely on a cake, of course, but just as festive as a mini garland for your tree or for decorating your mantle.

Thank you so much to a lovely customer for sending me a photo from this super cute fox-themed birthday party.  I really enjoyed creating the custom cake topper in navy, burnt orange and cream, but I have to admit, that little fox really takes the cake :)  Thank you again, and I hope the day was wonderful!

Inspiration: Beautiful Berkshires

My family and I just got back from an amazing vacation to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.
We spent time hiking, canoeing, visiting local farms and farmers markets, and enjoying all the beautiful scenery.  With autumn in all its glory, I couldn't help but come back with lots of inspiration for the shop.  Enjoy the photos!
